Wilmington, NC – It is with great sadness that Southeastern Tile Connection announces the passing of our colleague and friend, Henry Daughtry, who fought a courageous battle with cancer. Henry was a dedicated member of the Southeastern Tile family for more than 14 years, serving most recently as our Operations Manager.
Henry began his career with us in the warehouse and, through his hard work and determination, grew to become head of operations. His journey reflected his strong character, his loyalty, and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Over the years, Henry earned the respect and admiration of his peers, colleagues, and countless professionals across the tile industry. He was more than a manager—he was a mentor. Henry generously shared his knowledge, guiding young tile installers and new Southeastern Tile employees as they began their own careers. His influence will be felt for many years to come.
Henry’s presence brought warmth, kindness, joy and integrity into our workplace every day. His friendships ran deep, and the loss is profoundly felt across our company and community.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Henry’s loving wife Beth Daughtry and his entire family during this difficult time. We ask all who knew him to join us in remembering and celebrating his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
